As a writer and a visual artist. my thinking and therefore my work takes place in installations, images, texts, and music – not side by side, but interwoven. What drives me is the conviction that a story is not told exclusively through words, but also through light, traces, sensations, and objects both lost and found—and that, ultimately, it comes into being within the person who sees or reads it. For this reason, I strive to allow everything a work requires to emerge within it—but nothing more. The heavier the subject matter, the more delicate its form must be. This applies just as much to a novel as it does to an art scenography.
Fundamentally, I view artistic creation as a collaborative endeavor: without conversation, without shared experiences, and without feelings for other people, there is nothing to write about, to seek, or to portray. This is reflected not only in how themes find their way into my work, but also in how I construct spaces and texts—always with the thought in mind of who will enter them, and what it will be like to be there.
